A little introduction

I imagine you’re wondering who I am as you evaluate my site. Why is there a carefully constructed website for this random young woman? Well, since you’re here, let me introduce myself. In retrospect, I’m just Maddy. However, I am a very complex person. Like everyone else in the world, there is a lot more to me than what reaches the surface, what catches the eye. I am an aspiring author. I walk through this life with extreme passion beating in sync with my heart. I am driven; I am bursting at the seams with ambition. And I believe that has a lot to do with love for writing.

I have been a writer as long as I can remember. As soon as I learned to read, I was writing little stories with crayons on a sheet of paper and connecting them together with a stapler. When I was a teenager, I spent every spare minute I had behind my computer screen. Now? I write novels. I have been an author almost all of my life, whether or not I ever get published. It is a large part of who I am. It has always been a goal of mine to be published with my work.
